Chapter 12

Maggie's P.O.V.

We were headed for a tunnel, that was standing out in the dirt. It was large enough for a person to scrambled down into. He began dragged my faster and my head hit a rock. I saw the darkness of the tunnel surround me before blacking out.

Water was filled up around me. It was cold and refreshing.

This wasn't regular water. There was something different about it. It was pure, and clean. It was smooth and light.

There was a feeling of it that made me feel happy. It felt as though the splash was forming a massage around me, tickling my skin and making me forget all the troubles in the world.

I lifted to the surface and it all came back to me.

I filled my lungs with air, coughing up the water and wiping it from my eyes.

There was a solid smooth rock edge to the small pool I was in. I pushed myself through the water and reached it. I pulled myself up out of the water and sat on the edge.

I was in a cave. A small cave that had smooth rock floor, almost like tile, and the small blue water pool connected to the side north from the tunnel that led down into it. At the top was a small hole that filled the room with light from outside. I could see everything but a dark corner of the room.

I stared at the corner for a moment, wondering where the beast had gone. Then my question was answered. The yellow eyes opened to look at me. Slowly from the dark corner a boy stepped into the light.

He had long dark hair that he brushed back with his hand and only one piece fell in front of his face. He had perfect colored skin that was smooth and young looking, perfectly new. He was tall and had a handsome shape, muscular and strong. He had a pair of light jeans on and a V-neck shirt. It wasn't the creature, but it had the same eyes.

"How do you feel?" He asked smiling perfect white teeth, "Do you feel new? You look perfect."

I opened my mouth to say something but couldn't find the words. I looked at my skin. It was just like his. It was perfect, new, and clean. I felt my hair. It was thick and stronger than it used to be. It fell down my back in big curly waves. It was gorgeous. I looked down into the water at my reflection. I couldn't believe what I saw.

I was beautiful. I was perfect. How could this be?

I felt the boy come closer to me, and saw his reflection in the water next to mine, "It's nice huh? Amazing what a little water can do."
