Chapter 52
2:00AM

Lexi

I never enjoyed doing the dishes. But now I was praying that I had to wash more of it just to keep my mind off of what happened earlier.

What was that all about?

I wiped the tears in my eyes, and I swear to God that even my cheeks felt sore for crying 4 hours straight.

I was going to lose my mind if I spend an hour more of crying and moping, but someone probably felt the need to throw stones at my window at 2:00AM in the morning when everyone else is asleep just to stop me from crying.

I peeped through my window and saw him standing there.

Gray hoodies, black pants, Bring Me The Horizon band shirt, and black converse. Who else would it be?

I mouthed “what the hell?” at him, and he just shrugged and motioned me to come down. Without hesistation I got off my jammies and grabbed my edge ripped jean shorts and a black shirt with a pink outline of hello kitty’s face on the side.

I opened the door of my room quietly, and made my way through the hallways and stairs. When I reached the front door, I realized I wasn’t wearing any shoes at all. “Oh my geez.” I muttered.

Nevertheless I opened the door and told Irvine, “Dude! I forgot my shoes!”

He looked at me from top to bottom then laughed. “Silly, how could you? But—whatever!” He grabbed me by my waist and tossed me to his shoulder.

“Hey put me down!” I yelped as quietly as I could. “Where are you taking me?”
“Shut up unless you wanna walk barefoot.” He laughed and darted off to the streets with me on his shoulders.
