Chapter 17
Sanity

Him, beautiful him, a plaguing shadow on my conscious
Thoughts rush at the glimpse of his slickness boarding the downtown bus
Fleeting through my life, into my sight, etched in my mind
His trapsing residue resonates; Trailing his silhouette pushing the local supermarket trolley
His cocking eyebrow wishing me a beautiful day

Tracing my movements as we dance; Weaving the city streets
A teasing ghost with a hallucinogenic smile
Home is reached with safety latched and the lights glaring
A saddening relief bought by the dissipating light...

Its not easy being alone in the world ; Just me and the shape shifter.
