Chapter 3
storm poem

The clouds are moving

Straight through the sky

The sky turns darker as

The clouds cover the sun

Storm clouds move about

A soft breeze moves my hair

I feel a light rain drop

Then another one

And another

The speed picks up

The rain drops pour from the sky

Puddles fill the ground

The storm clouds stay in place

The sun is desperate to shine

I hear a boom

And I see a flash

Again and again

I hurry inside

I watch from my window

The rain drops slow

The booms and flashes are no more

The storm clouds drift away

And the sun shines brightly
