Chapter 39

It's finally last period. And its actually one of four classes I have with Isabelle. We have all the last classes (after lunch) together.
We walked into Writing class and instead of Candy sitting by me, Isabelle did. But of course Candy had something to say about it. "Excuse me, Ms. Turner?"
She sighed. "What is it now, Candy?"
"Isabelle took my seat. And I want to sit there. We make such great partners, James and I..."
"Just shut up and take a different seat. I don't have time for you petite problems."
She scoffed and walked away. We wanted to crack up, so badly! One of the boys in front of us turned around and looked at Isabelle, then me. "Not that its any of my business, but why are you sitting with her anyway? Isn't Candy, like, a way easier fuck?"
My mouth flew open and I wanted to punch him. He said it like she's not even here! "Yes, Candy is. But I'm sitting with Isabelle for three reasons. One, she's not a whore like Candy. Two, because she's way better company. And three, because we're engaged."
He nodded. "Well she's pretty. Good job choosing."
She smiled and looked down.
"Okay class! Today your assignment is easy. All you have to do is write a short story about anything you want. It will count as a grade so I sugest you do it."
Short story about anything we want? That's rediculuosly easy.
I took out my notebook and pen, and started to write.

The Adventure of The Guy and the Girl
I ran through the forest with her hand in mine. She wore a dress, it was too long, it was slowing us down. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. "You know I can walk."
"You were going to slow!"
I ran through the trees until we came to a cliff and the only thing under us was water. It looked like we could jump in and make it. But there was something holding me back.
I looked down and saw the ugliest pink vine ever wrapping around my leg. "Damn. It's the Candy-saurus-plant!"
It wrapped around my heroine's leg and tried to pulled her away. But she kicked the vine and broke it. We lit a dynamite pack and jumped into the water.
There was a huge explosion and a blood churning scream. We landed in the water and surfaced a few minutes later. "Well, that was strange."
"No doubt." She swam over to me and kissed my cheek. All is done in the guy and the girls story.

I laughed almost the entire time. It was too funny. I looked at Isabelle and saw she was still writing, and it wasn't long, just... I don't know, organized?
I waited for her to finish and when she did, she sighed. What could be wrong?
