Dear God, Help Me
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 30
Are You Alone?

Are you still listening to those sad songs?
Do you regret every day of the past?
Are you still struggling to move on
And though they try, talking never helps?

Do you feel like you're going in circles,
And every relationship is just another
Way for you to rebound to happiness?

Do you find yourself trying to piece
Together a perfect past while holding
Your composure so nobody sees you've fallen?

And are you still looking for that
Special one but you're tired of waiting?
Are you tired of trying to impress others?
Do you feel like nobody cares anymore?

Are you constantly hiding in your room,
Screaming and crying because you're alone?

Well, if you're still alone, if you're
Still struggling to do the simple things,
Take my hand, forget about your past
Because I know how painful it is.

Together we'll stand, together we'll fight
Together we'll fall, but together we'll
Rise again tonight, and we'll stand tall.
