Dear God, Help Me
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 25

I never knew you existed.
A shadow of the remnants.
But now I know you,
It's hard to forget.

With bleeding, red hands
I keep trying to erase
The memories we shared.
I try to wipe off the slate.

Something draws me to you,
I'm starting to hate God.
Everything was simply perfect,
Then I knew you existed.

It's getting hard to believe
But this love-hate relationship
Has already come to an end.
But I'm not ready to move on!

When I hear those songs,
That we both used to love,
I find myself ready to die.
On the verge of tears.

No smelling salt can ever
Wake me from this nightmare.
And the only question remains:
Why can't I move on?
