Dear God, Help Me
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 23
Gone Fishing

You see a man struggle to run,
You pull on your leash,
I hope it's too late.
Maybe it's not too late.
It's too late for him.

Still you reel him in,
And I see what he thinks,
"Maybe this is love,
Just meant to be."
Why do you torture him?

You further the point
You're so innocent
Is this suspense?
You're a case of
Wrong place, wrong time.

But the way you make it
You've done everything.
You're such a hero,
Diseased and ugly.
Let's always look inside!

So he's fallen for you
But you rush it so much,
What if he knew about
You and your secrets?
I feel no pity for you.
