Dear God, Help Me
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 8

I usually meet new friends from school or nearby towns through online websites. This is due to the fact that I am shy outside of online. So I was looking through profiles, and I saw the most interesting one I'd seen. "Current mood: Asphyxiated." Now, I knew asphyxiated meant to have your oxygen cut off. And I asked about it, he never explained why that was put as his mood. But I think I understood. And I realized, I felt the same way.

My heart feels asphyxiated.
But I can't leave this place.
I need to see her face.
And when I do, my chest locks up.
The cavities are splitting inside.
And my body's become numb.
This was never your fault,
It was always mine.
I'm so sorry I did this to you.
