the world within me

Chapter 91

I hear of many people

What love may mean to me

To die for someone special

Or just to set them free

Love is sacrificial

Tolerating everything

From the smallest humiliation

To the greatest insult to bring

Love surrounds and confines

Permeates and encloses

To bring a kind of concern

More personal than roses

Love is when they lay down

Their own important life

To die for someone unheard of

Or save them from their strife

Love is beyond compare

What true love really is

Not romance and magic

It’s so much more than this

Love is sacrificial

Leaving everything behind

And giving up its face

Never saying mine

Love is freedom and restrain

Discipline and advice

Love is warm yet cold

A fire in the ice

Love is overflowing

It cannot ever end

Love is small and succinct

A very special friend

Love may see the sorrow

The painful precipice

But love overcomes this evil

And finds them sure release

Love is indescribable

What real love is everyone defines

But love as sincere as it can be

I can’t say in such few lines
