Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 165
Did I Imagine It

I pick myself up again,
As I feel the sinking truth,
It hurts every fiber of me,
And I can only wonder,
Was it I who left you?
Can I remember my past?
And where did that voice,
So harmonic and demonic,
Appearing from the luminous
Air itself, reaching to the
Farthest reaches of the abyss,
Come from? Did I imagine it?
