Chapter 146
I Won't Be Your Smoking Gun

There's just a hint of
Dust in these ashes,
Rock in those boulders,
And acts left in this play.
But I'm the epiphany!
There's always too much
Collateral damage in
Another cold war,
And just too little
Gun in this powder.
When push came to shove,
I just shrugged.
I'm the new example,
An undead role-model,
And I just won't be
The fuel to your fire.
Your flames can
Keep growing higher,
But, as my job,
I take away the wood.
I won't be your
Smoking gun!
