Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 90
Longing You

Clenching my head I fall
Take solace, I did it for you
I start to cry as it sinks in
Losing you never felt so bad

So I try to breathe
Try to stop my heart
From snapping in two
But I'm weak, I cry

Just know that, it's not true
I really did, I really loved you
And sometimes you can't see
If you really cared, you'd save me

We could live alone, me and you
It doesn't matter, who comes along
We can shun our families, our friends
And be alone in everlasting bliss

I could show you how I love
Show you where I stand
And you could give me your heart
Give me what you have

And though you're going away
The dawn fleets before the day
You won't ever know how much
I will miss you, your touch
