Chapter 84
Perfect Day

Sitting here, I wonder
Could I have just went through
The perfect night
The perfect day

Though I sat through
An agonizing morning
The night, cleared the dawn
I got to see the one

I'd give my life just for
Her smile
And I'd take someone else's
Just for her laughter

As the day swiftly turned
To night
My fear increased drastically
I think I died

But she smiled at me
And I was revived
We began simply
Talking and chatting

And as the night melted
To pitch black morning
We experienced the bliss
Of each other

And as I write this
I know I've lived
The perfect day
Yet, it's only begun

Could there be
More perfect days
To come to me?
If so, bring them forth

Because every second
Around her smile, her face
Makes my flesh burn red
And my lips smile from ear to ear

Every day
Is a perfect one
Just because
I'm talking to her
