Chapter 0
Prologue

It's the year 2094. In the coming six years, huge, devastating disaster are expected to affect the world. Off the scale earthquakes, spontaneous volcanic eruptions, floods in all bodies of water, and huge tsunamis are just a few of the disasters geologists predict and the whole population of the world is anticipated to die out.
Suddenly the scientists have a breakthrough. They discover that there is a small portion of the south Pacific that most likely won't be affected by the disasters, but the only land in that part of the world is an uninhabited island about the size of a small city. The scientists release the information only to top government officials who are forced to decide what they should use the island for.
Governments from countries across the globe come to a surprisingly peaceful consensus: send 90 teenagers to this island so the world population can be rebuilt after the disasters. They plan on turning the island high-tech and building it into a city for the teens to live in all alone without any contact from the outside world. The governments select teens with special gifts; musical instruments, singing, writing, dancing, computers, and so much more. The teens are all sent an letter telling them of their prize.
Some teens don't want to leave their parents forever. In fact, most of them want to decline the invitation. But their parents force them. After all, it IS the only way to save their young lives.
Governments decide one more controversial thing: the teens every moves will be captured on camera and turned into a TV show for the mainland people to watch before their catastrophic demise.
And so starts the story of the teens all alone.

Would they be better off back home?
