Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 70
I Never

If it's a two-way street
Then I'm underground
Toasting with the Devil
Hiding out in hell without you

There's nothing that makes me feel better
Than listening to you scream out in pain
Because you've earned this much from me
Some more emotional pain, please

I don't wanna listen to you
I don't wanna hear your name
But someone keeps whispering
Our memories inside my head

What happened to us?
What happened to love?
What made you so ready
To give everything up?

Not gonna lie, I do kinda miss you
But just as easily, I will replace you
You should have known this was coming
Why did you do this to me?

You're killing me slowly.
You're sinking into my skin.
I would like you to know
I never truly loved you.
