Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 67
Feel No Shame

I sweep one giant hand
Into the rubble of your life
And I reach in to save you
You bury me in the sea
Your hand drags me down
And now I have to wonder

Was it me who was wrong?
Should I have trusted you?
You, who hurt me so deeply.
Or should I have left you,
Left you to drown in your own
Demons and burn in hell forever

I'm so lost in this life
Trying make my way around
But you just keep dragging me
Along like a pair of broken wings
Do you feel no shame?
Feel no shame in hurting me...
