Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 58
Take The Fall

You're a baby born in cancer
A helpless face, an extinct heart
You're a waste of my air, you know
But somehow, I loved you
If it's anything to you
I had planned to stab your heart
Cut it out, like you had mine
But now I know
I'm better than that
I care too much to die at all
And I won't let you take the fall
