Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 53
Ease The Pain

I see the blood drip down
On the icy shores
Winter's coming in
I'm lost inside your soul

My face, mangled in fear,
I see the maggots crawl.
For a real thrill, you should see
The skeletons in my closet.

Wasting my time with you
While the walls cave in
They restrain me again
And I need you, I need you

You're so far away from me
I'm dead and gone because
Without you here it's
Hard to ease the pain
