Chapter 32
The Next Time You Wake Up

If I was a piece of trash, like you
Would you make this world feel right?
If I hadn't showered in a year
Would you look me dead in my eyes?

With every breath and stutter in
Your face and in my eyes
You see you've lost in me
All the faith I had left to show you

I got a headache from
Your bitching and I just hear
You say another word now
I'm ready for you to leave

You hear my call and you tense
I see it in your eyes
And just because I have lies
You think that I won't see

Well I can read the signs
You leave
But the signals are unclear
To me

If you improvise
Just one more time
You might see that I
Won't be laying by you

The next time you wake up
