Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 12
Your Sickness

Code red, code red
Break in the storm
It's surrounding us
No where is warm

The sorrow is killing
The marrow in my bones
'Cause I'm hanging
From your noose again

They tell me I'm
The cold angel of desire
Well settin' this place on fire
And there's nothing to stop it

To that pit you call a home
That cesspool of your pain
I won't be your man anymore
Soon as I walk out that door

I'm twirling from you
Fingers again tonight
I'm not coming down
With your sickness again
