Poetry From The Weakened Soul

Chapter 11
Paper Playground

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
But when you survive, sometimes you
Just can't feel the earth under your feet
And there's some things I can't get over...

But, yes, it's okay
I'll just waste away
While you're out today
You should've listened
To what I had to say!

Now I'm buried in the ground
You didn't leave me here, did you
Think that I was gone for good?
Well now I'm back, from away
Gone for good, that's a banishment
But now I'm here for nourishment

But, yes, it's okay
I'll just waste away
In this paper playground
You made for me
And under the trees
I'll lose you tonight
I never needed you to stay
