Poetry From The Weakened Soul

Chapter 9
True Perfection

Which is understandable
Your heart got crushed
You needed comfort
She tried to use your vulnerability
But you overcame it
And now she insults you
Trying to make you
What she wants you to be
That's the game, isn't it?
Play, or be played
Be that as it seems
A cruel world for us all
But, what if we turned off the game?
What if, instead of hurting
We all cared and helped
Maybe that, my friend
Is true perfection
