Poetry From The Weakened Soul

Chapter 5
Guess Again

"Hey, man, where you off to?"
"I don't know, somewhere else."
"What's wrong with you this time?"

It's said that all good guys go bad
Well, guess I was just next in line
Can't say that I didn't lie to you
Looking back, it was all of the time
And feels like I'd just rather die
Than admit I was always wrong
I keep trying to be a good guy
Balance the world on my shoulders
Then suddenly I buckled under pressure
I start yelling at everyone who I love
Mindless violence is all that's left
I fight for you, and this seems right
But then I fight you 'cause I'm wrong
It's said that all good guys go bad
Well, guess this was just my turn
