Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 1
Phone Call: Part I

Tell me you meant to hurt me
Cast me out into the painful sea
But I still can't let go of you
I swear I know this love is true

Try and tell me it's over now
I hope I'll survive this somehow
And for some reason I feel
That this just can't be real

I'm a bit young, that I can see
Today I wanted to ask you, marry me
Except the sky grew dark and blue
Because I was left here, by you

It hurts so bad when I hear your voice
You made your mind up, made your choice
And you don't really love me at all
You were just setting me up to fall
