Chapter 18
Semboti: Underneath It All P.1

Sembi and Olram loved their island, Semboti. They both were known by most of the children and all of the adults. On holidays, they found themselves with over twenty presents and the Chief secretly wished to switch his own children, Aklop and Emboti with them. Of course, they were best friends and loved to explore new things. Everyone loved what they came back, which consisted of unique shells and unheard of plants and animals. On Sembi's birthday night, she and Olram decided to play near Frivilent Bay. The ocean had easy access to the villages this way. They sensed immense energy in the waves and told every family that they would have to leave Semboti for the emergency, underground caves. Only four listened: the Ofla's, the Integre, the Tobim's, and the Bemlo.

The sky was dirty black when the tsunami's first wave hit. Children were swept away be the blow and so were supplies. Some were never recovered. The strong family of Bemlo helped dig deep into the sand, passing semi-cavens after
