Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 125
Z: The Final Letter

This is a suicide poem. #1 of 3 that I wrote in school today. I wrote them thinking of all the wrongs I've done to all of those who I would've been happy with, but I fucked up, and wishing deep down I could cry, let loose and just cry... WRITTEN IN SCHOOL, WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Losing sight of my instincts

I don't think I know myself

I've become lost in misery

No one truly cares for me

Drop my wings upon the ground

Knowing now I can't be found

Looking back there's only hate

Death will come, just set the date

I don't think I ever knew

In the end, what is true?

Suffering has covered me

Will I ever be let free?

Drenched in tears I can not sleep

The pool is thick and getting deep

After all, Death is what I seek

The pain has reached its peak

Now it's time for me to leave

Don't forget, but do not grieve

Death will heal all my wounds

Nothing left, this is goodbye
