Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 63
Baby (Negative Version)

First day of school and I got a lot to bitch about. I had an argument with one of the people I had a relationship with before school, then I was pretty much shy the whole day, keeping to myself. I wrote maybe 4 poems. This was my first. WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK, WRITTEN AT SCHOOL, Monday, August 23, 2010

Baby, please cry tonight

Baby, please die tonight

I'm not here to save you

I'm not superman no more

You're just a stone cold whore

Baby, please leave me tonight

Baby, without you I know I'll be alright

As the times slipes by I know

I never needed you to help me grow

As we reap so shall we sow

Baby, please try to understand

Baby, quit trying to say I messed up

This world's full of wants and gains

And your love is just full of pain

Baby, this time I'm gone
