Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 33
Aphrodite Died

Less short, but a lot of lines, this one is about my . . . well, I want to say "my Aphrodite" but my last Aphrodite didn't really keep me...

Anyway, she's special, and I'm going to show her my poems from now on. And, I just noticed, this place is sort of like a journal, to me.

Beauty's hair
Tiger's eyes
Got God's smile
But Satan's pain
She died today
But did you care?
I don't think you did
Because you didn't cry
You didn't care
I'm the one that cared
You drove her dead
With everything you said
