Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 8
Incomplete Poem

Recently I've been unable to finish my poems. I've written verses that don't go together. This is one of those poems. I guess it's a little "I love you" from me to someone very special, even if she'll never see it, and even if it's not good enough for her. This is a much more happy poem than what I usually do, meaning it's not too good. "Finished" July 12th 2010, I give you Incomplete Poem

I can't sleep 'cause I'm dreaming of you
I'm dreaming of what little we have
And how much we could have
I'm dreaming of what you've said
Replaying the words over and over
Saying the words again and again
It feels amazing just to look into your eyes
To see your soul and your beauty
