The Burning and Frozen Moments of our hearts
Author: Paki MoMokinz

Chapter 20
Rumbling Thunder

Verse 1

Rumbling thunder in the night sky

Trapped flames all around me

Smoke making it so hard for me to breathe,

But I could envision no other place, where I would rather be.

My body says to run away,

But my brain says to stay

Where would I go?

It all makes no sense to me.

Just let me stay here a little longer

Staring at your eyes only makes me grow fonder.

Chorus

Send me another text message

Have a conversation with me on the phone,

Laugh at all the jokes I tell you.

And while you are on the other side smiling

I am here dying.

Because your eyes are so damn mesmerizing

Wherever I go, I can not get them out of my head.

Let the rains of your love douse the flames in my heart".

Verse 2

Staring out the window

I know you can see me

And you know I can see you too

With the expression on your face that says “Woah”

My body catches on fire,

But still I am only thinking of you.

Just watch me turn to ash

And come running to me, acting like you care.

As long as I get to see your pretty eyes one last time

Before I perish.

Chorus

Send me another text message

Have a conversation with me on the phone,

Laugh at all the jokes I tell you.

And while you are on the other side smiling

I am here dying.

Because your eyes are so damn mesmerizing

Wherever I go, I can not get them out of my head.

Let the rains of your love douse the flames in my heart

Chorus

Send me another text message

Have a conversation with me on the phone,

Laugh at all the jokes I tell you.

And while you are on the other side smiling

I am here dying.

Because your eyes are so damn mesmerizing

Wherever I go, I can not get them out of my head.

Take the fire extinguisher and put the heart fire out,

But it always finds its way back when I see you.
