Chapter 8
Delightful Birthday

Delightful Birthday

One year passes tiring yet fast

Old things wither and turn to dust

But here you are one year more

You lived through just like before

Thank God for yet another year

That you are my father close and dear

The time you’ve spent to teach me things

About this world and what it brings

Without a candle and without a cake

This poem is one of the many I could make

With blossoming love and with care

Your 45th birthday with you I shall share

You know what I want and hunger for

God, love, birds and eeyore

So I want to tell you that I love you too

And forever I will this whole life through

Now as one year passes

And everything’s so fast

But I won’t miss the chance

Of saying Happy BIRTHDAY once

a birthday rhyme to wish someone a delightful birthday
