Chapter 51

Dear Mother

Plainly put I am curious,

What did I ever do,

That's so bad I deserve your hate,

Was it the time I screamed,

Or snuck out for a date,

Was it the time I was mad,

And said I hated you?

That can't be right,

Because you said you hated me too,

Whenever I'm near you,

I feel I don't belong,

So now I'm curious,

Mother-What did I do wrong?

Was it something I did,

Or was it something I said,

Was it that incredibly bad,

You now wish me dead...

I'll always have to say,

I'm your daughter,

So Mother I apologise,

But please don't slap me,

Mother you bring tears to my eyes,

When I was little Mother,

Everything was just fine,

I know I'm not smart like my brother,

Or as very beautiful as my sister,

I know you always wanted,

The perfect child,

And again I will apologise,

For being so stupid and wild,

But Mother know I tried,

To be how you wanted me,

Threw many a nights I cried,

Because it wasn't the real "me"...

Very Sincerley,

A Disowned Daughter.
