Chapter 1
First Day, First Glimpse

Walking up the stairs that led to the office was like climbing up to the summit of Mount Everest. My whold body felt like it was about to go into comvulsions. My palms were sweating so bad that is was a struggle trying to keep my books from falling and hitting the floor.

I passed many doors and hallways on my way to the office. It took a little while but I finally found the door that led to the office.

I felt a rush of frigid air as I opened the door and walked straight towards the desk.

The woman that was sitting there was once my math teacher back when I was in middle school. She used to be my favorite teacher and everyday I loved to go into her class for lunch.

She has round glasses that look like the size of coke caps; her hair is very short and the color of the bark on a tree. The one thing that I really liked about ther was her sense of humor because she tells so many jokes that even the devil would crack up with laughter.
