The Burning and Frozen Moments of our hearts
Author: Paki MoMokinz

Chapter 1
Was it love or was it Lust?

You were new in town
But when my eyes touched yours,
You became the sun that I was so familiar with.
I watched you day in and day out.
You were the only solution to my blood heart drought
You came outside in your blossoming loose gown.
The same piece of cloth that makes me want to drown.
Should have just made a casket for me
Because I was already dead
From the day I saw your bright blue eyes
Was it love?
Or was it lust?
I was so lost
Couldn’t tell the difference.

Chorus
All I was ever asking for was you.
Why couldn’t you just tell me
That you cared about me?
That you loved me?
That you needed me?
That you were infatuated by me?
That you felt the same way I did

Verse 2
We all believe in dreams
And they become true.
But why is it that, that the one thing I wished for
A Girl that occupied my heart and my soul
I only dreamt and wished of you.
But it never became true.

Chorus
All I was ever asking for was you.
Why couldn’t you just tell me?
That you cared about me?
That you loved me?
That you needed me?
That you were infatuated by me?
That you felt the same way I did

Verse 3
Even one phone call would be enough.
Could have just looked at me just once
And pretended that you cared.
And made me believe that you were the one pulling stunts
That way at least I would believe that you would feel this way about me
Just once.

Chorus
All I was ever asking for was you.
Why couldn’t you just tell me?
That you cared about me?
That you loved me?
That you were infatuated by me?
That you felt the same way I did
