Chapter 35

As I flew toward the cave, I noticed something big and dark flying toward me. I didn’t think one Eraser would’ve come alone so I didn’t panic until I noticed who it was.

“Fang! Where do you think you’re going?!” I yelled.

“I’m going crazy. Wanna come?” It was just like him to make annoying smart-ass comments in a situation like this.

“No you are not! You are still recovering! You fly right back to the Cullen’s house!” I said, hovering.

He glanced at me and flew ahead in that stubborn way of his. I decided it was much more likely for a bunny to fly up and start tap dancing in mid-air than for Fang to actually listen to me. So I just flew up next to him.

It didn’t take long to get to the cave, though it felt like hours. Time dragged while I waited for Fang to say something, anything. I got nothing. Not even a glance.
