Chapter 29

Boy was Fang clingy right now! He held me in his stone grip like he was still dying and I was the last thing he would ever hold.

“Geez, Fang, do you think you could loosen your grip a bit? I can’t breathe!” I realized the fight was still going on outside. A sudden ear piercing scream shattered the windows and had us on the ground holding our heads.

“I should go see what the heck that was,” I said when it was safe to uncover our ears. We both walked downstairs just as everyone else came in.

“I just got a new skill!” Gazzy said proudly. I walked over and ruffled his hair.

“I’m afraid to ask.”

“Gazz here just downed the remaining 20 Erasers and werewolves with a super-sonic screech,” Iggy said dramatically cleaning out his ear.

“That’s really cool Gasser. Just don’t you dare try to use that on us!” I said, sitting by Fang. I realized I was supposed to be mad at him and turned away.

“Hey all those capable of flight,” I said shooting a pointed glare at Fang, Edward chuckled at what I was thinking, “Let’s go fly around. See if any got away.” We walked out onto the lawn and leapt into the air.
