Chapter 1
Questions

When you are little, you ask innocent questions.

Questions like “why is the sky blue?”.

Questions that all begin with WHY?

But as you grow in age, you learn more.

 And the questions change.

Asking about the sky changes to who’s that guy.

Mom is never home for protection or comfort.

Never home when you need her.

 EVER.

Yes, she will support you with new clothes,

                                           food to cook yourself.

                                                      Ways to entertain yourself.

                                                                    ALONE.

But should physical things change the definition of love?

You are a teen, but mom is the one that acts like it.

                     THE ROLE ARE SWITCHED.

She leaves night after night to be with men.

Leaves, then doesn’t return until well after your are sleeping, tears dried on your face.

While she was gone, you cooked, bathed, and tucked in the one you love.

Then went to bed wishing someone could kiss you on the forehead telling you it will all be  okay.

As a kid, mom was a superhero… But now, we know better.
