Chapter 7
Torian: Cornered

Why me? Why did my life have to shattered? Why did I have to leave? Why was I… chosen? Why don’t we have choices? Why? I was in love. The love of my life was waiting for me and I couldn’t wait to get to her.

So why was I stuck here instead of locked in her arms where I wanted to be?

Why would I never see her again unless I…?

None of those questions could be answered.

I could never fully be me again.

Images flooded my head of her and a smile crossed my face. Looking at her beautiful face made me feel like a million bucks. Made me feel like I had everything I needed. Made me feel alive, made me feel… whole.

As I stared into those remarkable eyes I could not help but smile. It seemed like my whole world would stop when I was with her. She had some kind of hold on me I could not shake. It scared me to death the moment I realized I had to be with her.

Like now, this long journey to her was well worth it in the end. I would get to see her smile once more. I would get to hold her in my arms again. Kiss those soft adorable lips of hers that just drive me crazy.

In order for me to see her again it would be hell for her to pay. As bad as I did not want that, I had to see her again. It hurt to do so, but yeah it was worth it. Even if it meant that it would be the end of her. I had to. If it meant eventually we would be together in the end.
