Author: It's just Me

Chapter 27
A difference?

A DIFFERENCE?

I got them to agree,

right when I took their side.

Their idea is worth being just like her, because I could hide,

the loner inside.

I don't really like the feeling, of having no friends.

It's like a hurling kick in the gut, but the pain never ends.

There has to be someone, who looks at me, and likes what they see.

Someone who searches farther than my sister, and notices me.

I don't like being in the shadow of my twin,

because if you really know her, there's more behind that pretty girl whose thin.

I don't understand why, when she’s around the guys can’t even think.

But if I look the same, do I stink?

Personality does not matter, at all,

in this new town.

Because, here, life is a beauty contest,

and my twin has the crown.
