the world within me
Author: Ella

Chapter 115

It is bright and bold
A blast of blinding light
It uplifts and upholds
So intense thereís no respite

It is heavy and industrious
Holds creation as a shadow
It roars and pours forth
Gently streaming through the meadow

It stays free and strong
Sovereign, the right to rule
But the touch of a child so tender
A love so beautiful

It makes the strong cower
And the meek to rise above
A marching band of soldiers
An uplift of the dove

It breaks forth into a gallop
And surrounds the very soul
Calm, peace and comfort
As life takes its toll
To stand and stare in awe
Something impossible to erase
Weighty yet delightful
Calling forth all praise
