The Burning and Frozen Moments of our hearts
Author: Paki MoMokinz

Chapter 82
Next To Me

Verse 1

The dawn is breaking

My heart is bleeding

And the sun is nowhere to be found to shed some light to the darkness

And I don’t know what went wrong

It wasn’t me and it wasn’t you

I gave you all my songs, all my poems,

 it wasn’t enough

All the words straight out of my heart

 it wasn’t enough

I would have given you the world if I could, but it would still not be enough

Chorus

All I ever had was the thought of you

Now I don’t have anything at all

You took my heart

You took my love

You took all of my hope

Where can I go now

Where can I go

That doesn’t remind me of you

Verse 2

You are fine you go on with some guys hand wrapped around your shoulder

I am struggling to stay alive

Each breath reminds me of you,

The impossibility of seeing you again

Each step I take gives me a heart attack

I can’t stand that you are not here next to me, next to me.

Even though I know it is impossibility,

You will never see me the way I see you

The surfboard to my waves,

The oceans of my heart’s desire,

The angelic beauty that stands next to me, that watches over me

And I wouldn’t have it any other way,

but now I can sense the loss,

That you are no longer here beside me,

Chorus

All I ever had was the thought of you

Now I don’t have anything at all

You took my heart

You took my love

You took all of my hope

Where can I go now?

Where can I go

That doesn’t remind me of you

Verse 3

The earth is shattering inside of me

My heart beat is getting slower each time I walk out of this epiphany

What can do what can I say

Nothing helps there’s no other way

Try to get up, try to move on, but

Each thought brings me closer to you

I am stuck in this nightmare,

And the nightmare is caused by you,

Come back and make it a dream

That is the only way.
