Chapter 3
Journal Entry #3

8:45 P.M.

Interesting things coming out of that whole country thing. The U.N. is reporting that not only did they use chemical weapons on their own citizens, but what they used was an untested weapon. The news coming out is that their hospitals are way overwhelmed, and they're shipping in some workers to help. I just hope this dickhead of a dictator doesn't decide to use it on the workers that are being sent over there.

In other news, we're buying a car. Alex has decided that she really wants an SUV, and doesn't want our little Hyundai, so we're car shopping. I'm really looking forward to have a man's car, and not her little “Hold my chihuahua” car.

I can't stop thinking about how much safer my son is going to be in this beast. It'll be worth the difference in gas for the safety of my family. And my wife being happy with me doesn't hurt either.

I also am starting to feel slightly empathetic towards these people over in Chechistan. I'm going to be upset if anything happens to those U.N. Workers, to the point where I might actually agree with our bumbling president if he calls for a strike on them.

Off for tonight, but you can bet I'll be watching the news to see any new developments.
