A Girl Named Her
Author: Braylee B

Chapter 33
33

Sooo... This is college, she thinks. She hopes this will be better than High school. She's meeting new people. Most of them are just her roommates friends cause she has like a million here, but it's people right? She's still too shy to go out on her own, and they say you shouldn't do that anyway. Because there are a lot of creepy people at this place. But all she wants to do is meet some of her own friends. But she really doesn't know how to do that. She just sticks to the people she knows, like the ones on her floor. They all seem super chill. But they already have like their own little groups and clicks. And she doesn't know how to get involved. There's tons of events going on for all the freshman to help them meet new people and such. But those things are even hard for someone who is not social. She wants this to be different, but she doesn't know how to just up and change the way she is. She's too timid and scared. The boys here are super cute. Some are creepers, but you get those anywhere. She just doesn't know how to do all this. The whole meet new people, make friends, make memories. It just sucks. And it  doesn't help when people from her 'old' life are 'getting in the way.' They aren't really in the way, but they kinda make it difficult. She wants them in her life, but she cant really do the things that helped her feel better before. Like sit in her backyard in the dark under the stars. Or go for a walk in the night to clear her mind. She wants change, and to have friends, but this shit is so damn hard. Ugh.........
