The Burning and Frozen Moments of our hearts
Author: Paki MoMokinz

Chapter 79
All Alone

Verse 1

I am all alone sitting in the empty chair

Drinking all of the booze with blood on my hands and you’ve gone missing

And every thought I get,

I think about you in the past, how you used to stand right next to me

And believe every single word I said. Oh how wrong I did

Not a day goes by when I don’t start to gasp for air at breaking your heart

I wish I could have taken it all back but now its too late.

The cut is bleeding deeper and there’s nothing more for me to say

Every day seemed like the same

And my life was moving backwards instead of forward after the day you finally saw me

Chorus

I remember that perfect day,

The perfect moment

You were lying down on my chest, as I looked in the stars

I saw an illustration of you with your smiles

Fell in love with you that night

Then the drama began and I wish I hadn’t but it did

And we broke up but I still love you so much

But love,

For me it wasn’t enough

Verse 2

One more bottle of whiskey to go

Now I have forgotten you. I try to get up but drop the glass

The broken pieces of my past and the broken pieces of my heart

Your face is in my head that remains constant. Could not get you out of my head

What else can I do, what can I say, I love you so much but was a fool to let you go?

I am so lost right now, no direction, in life, waiting for you to come and lead me anywhere with you

Right there beside me

Chorus

I remember that perfect day,

The perfect moment

You were lying down on my chest, as I looked in the stars

I saw an illustration of you with your smiles

Fell in love with you that night

Then the drama began and I wish I hadn’t but it did

And we broke up but I still love you so much

But love,

For me it wasn’t enough

Verse 3

My heart is in ruins, the same ruins that you left when you left

And I was too self-centered to request for them back.

You took my love and my heart with you. I can only get them back with you

I loved you so much, but today is another day. The sun is shining so it must be another good day,

Your eyes always shined just like the sun, so bright and so majestic. Now I have one more chance, As I approach her, I see she is with somebody else.
