Chapter 21
PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Please tell me I was wrong
Tell me it never happened
So maybe I can breathe again
Don't tell me I was right

Please take away my pain
Tell me everything is all right
So maybe I can let go of the past
Don't deprive me of my happiness

Please tell me I was not abused
Tell me it's all a lie
So maybe I can convince myself it is
Don't tell me the truth

Please let me forget it all
Tell me you'll steal my memories
So maybe I can move on
Don't let me die of hurt and pain

Please tell me it will get better
Tell me I can learn to trust again
So I can find love and peace
Don't give me mistrust and hate

Please tell me my future will be bright
Tell me I won't encounter more pain
So I can live the life I deserve to live
Don't you even tell me I can't

Please give me the faith and hope I need
Tell me you don't pity my past
So I can put smiles in my world
Don't fill my future with frowns

Please love me and care for me
Tell me it's unconditional and true
So I can float above the clouds
Don't let my high fall low

Please forget with me now
Tell me we can run away from the past
So we will be freed of this burden
Don't decline my request please

Let me love my life again
