Chapter 12
The Cure

Weak indeed, I stand isolated from those bubbly souls
I seek a cure through crimson liquid and metal
The remedy fails my pain and suffering
Must I be part of a label?
Might I stand my ground alone?
The beautiful, yet frightening girl that bleeds
She tells me that the alternative to life is unacceptable
And I believe her wisdom.
So I quickly give up the cure and search for another less dangerous.
What may separate pain from true love?
How has painful love come to be?
Why must I ponder on these unanswerable questions?
Cease the curiosity.
I do not speak.
I do not think.
An Irish ring of gold glints in the blaring sunlight.
A heart
A crown
Two hands
I know now that the golden ring upon my slender finger is the reasonable answer.
The remedy.
The cure.
