Chapter 26
I cry and they laugh

About a year ago my supposedly best friend emailed my biggest crush ever that I liked him. I had a dream about this again…All names have been changed.

My vision was dizzy, but when I saw Lizzie, I knew exactly what I had to do.

I crouched down, aware that she may be stronger than m. I jumped off the ground, like a lion catching his prey. I was kicking, scratching, and punching her as hard as possible. She barely was able to fight back.

“Girls stop that!” Mrs. Crierson snapped.

But of course I would not, so she had to pull me off.

“What has she ever done to you? Huh?” of course she was going to stick up for her daughter. Her evil daughter.

“sh-she-she se-sent a-an –e-e-mail to-“ I started to cry. “m-my” sniffle. “Biggest-cr-crush of all times-sa-saying that I like him!” I finally got it all out.

My cheeks had little tears everywhere, flowing down, and smearing all of my cover-up. I would never want to see myself in the mirror at that moment.

As I looked up they all broke out in laughter. Every one of them. The cruelness kicking my already broken heart.

As I woke up with tears in my eyes I wonder: would Lizzie really do that?
