Because We Are Different
Author: Wolfeygrrl

Chapter 0

Trees flew past me as I ran through the thick undergrowth. The sounds of gunshots ricochet as live fire fell around me. I cringed, a bullet just slipping past my shoulder as I ran away from these people.

These people who had been hunting me my whole life. Who had killed my parents and any friends I ever had. They never let me live a life, just because I was different. Yeah, different. When I hide what I really am, I look like any ordinary, fifteen year old girl. But no, I’m not.

Crying out, I tripped on a hidden log and tumble down a large hill. Rolling over large stones and hitting trees on my way down. I finally stop, my chest heaving as the water soaks my hair and clothes. They were getting closer and I close my eyes as a gun was placed at my head, this person’s finger readied on the trigger.
