Poems about Love
Author: Terra Blake

Chapter 48
A chance at paradise.

Let me have a chance
To set the record down and straight
Sitting across the table
From a woman whod rather die than mate

Since we sat down
Youre eyes have been on everything but me
And I really dont think that
There is much to see

Think back to how it was
Wondering howd we got to this place
Every time you pack to leave
My heart picks up a quickened pace

But you always choose to stay
And Im to afraid to ask your reason why
Were where tears fall heavy enough to
Break the wings of a butterfly

Paradise, this place we've come to close to know
And I feel I should let my feelings show
